SPIKES PRUNING CLAWS - MILLER
Pruning climbers, designed to provide support when climbing tree trunks.
Climbing climbers are mainly used by arborists for pruning (disassembly) work.
Description
- PVC calf and ankle straps.
- Stainless steel 3-sided tips, removable, symmetrical and sharpenable.
- An ergonomic aluminium bracket (right and left) that follows the morphology of the tibia.
- Symmetrical leather protections, reinforced with high-density foam with 3-position metal adjustment sleeves to fix the bracket.
Use :
They are fixed (once mounted and adjusted) to each foot (a right and a left), tightening is done using the straps provided for this purpose (calf and ankle).
Depending on the length of the user's shins, adjust the height of the protection (3 adjustment positions) so that the protection is 3 fingers below the kneecap.
Before each use, check the tightness of the tip and shell.
Maintenance :
The climbers (leather, foam and square) must be washed with soapy water, then rinsed with clear water and dried in the open air.
Sharpening the tips: sharpening of the two upper surfaces respecting the original angles, by means of a flat file or grinding wheel and fine-grained disc (greater than 80).
Remove the leather cover and screw the tip onto the bracket.
Insert the bracket into the metal sleeve of the protective pad, then adjust the height position according to your morphology.
Assemble the bracket and then the bearing bush and screw it in.
Insert the ankle strap into the bracket
Adjust the calf strap and buckle.
Adjust and buckle the ankle strap
